She sounds a bit barking mad
Usually, after a few bad dates in a row, you start to feel discouraged and start feeling like you are destined to never find love. This can leave you feeling demoralized and make you want to give up. This all goes away once you have had some good dates though, but some people do stop dating period due to too many bad dates.
Elizabeth Hoad, a former model and professional golfer, has decided on finding love elsewhere, but much closer than you might think. After over 200 bad dates, she has decided to tie the knot with her 6-year-old Golden Retriever Logan.
In an interview with The Sun, Elizabeth stated:
“I’m done with men. I’ve had 220 dates in eight years from six dating sites and it’s generally been a disaster."
“I thought it would be a good idea to 'marry' Logan instead. “He never leaves my side and we love one another."
While she still needs to persuade a priest to perform the ceremony, she is already planning on going to a dog-friendly hotel for their honeymoon!
"It’s my way of saying we’ll be together forever.”
