The funeral date and event deadline coincided perfectly. There was no way OP could wriggle out of paying his last respects, so he did what any rational teenager might consider: retreating to the bathroom at the funeral to sneak in a few rounds of Brawl Stars. 

The plan seemed foolproof until the unthinkable happened. The husband of the deceased relative caught him mid-battle and furiously sounded the alarm.
