This TikTok Hack Could Save You From Ever Having To Face Consequences For Arriving Late To Work
Some life-saving tips.

One thing most employers can collectively agree on is meting out consequences for late coming. It’s not only employees who expect individuals to be punctual, it’s everyone right from the teachers in a child’s school to a blind date.
However, we’ve all been late at some point in our lives. Whether as a bad habit or as a result of things we couldn’t control, everyone has had to arrive late at a place at least once before.
We can blame traffic for most people’s lack of punctuality, as it cannot be predicted sometimes. However, for some people, it’s just a case of mismanagement of time.
If you did a quick research, you’d find that quite a lot of people arrive late for work. A YouGov poll showed that one in five Americans arrive late for work at least once a week, while just under 48% never arrive late.
Another national survey shows that nearly 30% of all Americans arrive late for work daily. Further research will show that millennials are more likely to show up late than older colleagues.
Most employers have different ways of dealing with late coming, including deductions in remuneration and handing out queries.
Interestingly, a lot of employees are finding ways to escape these consequences, however controversial their methods may be.
We found one such method on TikTok. Check it out below!
A well-thought-out plan
An employee named Bri shared some much-needed advice on Tiktok. In the video, she shared how she arrives late to work without suffering any consequences.
In her words; “When I used to show up late to work & didn’t clock in purposely so I could wait till later in the shift to tell the manager to fix my time cause I ‘forgot to clock in and they fixed it to the time I was scheduled.”

Disclaimer
In the caption, Bri wrote, “This only works if your manager doesn’t watch you come in.”
"Works for me!” - some people in the comments section
It’s easy to tell that for some people, this was precious advice. For others, it was nice to have someone open up about a method they had used countless times.

Some managers are beginning to catch on

Too much can certainly get you fired

Well, this is an interesting unethical hack. While this hack is undoubtedly clever, it’s never great to make it a habit of arriving late to work.
That’s why most employers go to lengths to ensure employees don’t do so often. What do you think about this hack?
