There are some people who appear to think that nasty, unpleasant, or just genuinely petty behavior is okay, despite the fact that someone knows exactly where you live. People with antisocial inclinations don't really see any problems with merely being obnoxious to everyone around them, despite the different interpretations of "be a good neighbor" that span from Jesus Christ to Mr. Rogers.

Since social creatures can't actually tolerate an openly hostile neighbor, this feature should have been weeded out throughout the course of evolution. Unfortunately, it is still prevalent, spread by terrible circumstances and dysfunctional families.

Because antisocial behavior fosters the conditions necessary for its spread, everyone else suffers as a result. While antisocial conduct can sometimes be inherited, it is more frequently than not learned through poor socialization, abuse, or simply existing in a particularly unfavorable environment.

It should come as no surprise that in English, the term "neighborhood" also refers to the local populace. Stranger still, it has never been simpler to capture repulsive behavior in the 21st century, including legally acceptable evidence like videos and images.
