IT Student Faces Backlash For Making A 'Tech Support Help Desk' For Her Family After Constantly Asking For Help

Boundaries are the only thing that keeps people from getting too involved in your life and dictating certain aspects of it. Without them, the people in your life will allow themselves to act as they wish around you and waste your time with their demands. 

Maintaining these boundaries is also essential since some like to try their luck every now and then to check if they can get away with their bs. You need to constantly remind them that these boundaries aren't temporary and that they need to respect them at all times.

A Redditor who goes by the username u/Total-Network8077 made a post on the r/AmItheAhole subReddit where she explained how her family is constantly wasting her time and distracting her from her studies and work with their regular tech-related requests. The user came up with a practical solution to prevent her time from being wasted, but her family didn't approve of it and tried to shame her into getting back to how things were.

OP should not tolerate this kind of behavior from her family anymore. They have zero respect for her boundaries or time.
