Stepan has made it safe to France with his family during these troubling times for Ukraine residents/
Stepan The Cat is a furry friend that many people have come to love and adore while admiring his absolute cuteness. If you don't know who Stepan The Cat is, well, he's a friendly cat that is seen all over social media.
He lives with his family who resided in Ukraine and they gave a bit of a scare to their fans when they went quiet for a little while. Of course, this is because of the war going on in Ukraine, but this left Stepan The Cat's fans worried and trying to get into contact with them.
After a few weeks of going dark and not posting or communicating on social media, they are back and have said that Stepan and his family are fine and safe in France. It's a super cute and sweet story to look at and it definitely shows you some wholesomeness of the world, especially given the stressful nature of the war and news about it.
We're going to dive into this story of Stepan The Cat and how he and his family escaped the war in Ukraine and came to social media to let their fans know that they were perfectly fine. Get ready to read one of the saddest and cutest stories ever.
Stepan lives in Ukraine with his cat mom and this changed their lives.
Stepan's cat mom, Anna, started posting photos and videos of him starting in 2020. He's quickly become almost everyone's favorite internet cat.
Stepan is absolutely adorable and wins everyone over with his grouchy stare and slouched position. He serves looks while enjoying a disco ball and a drink.
Stepan's life and routine had to change when their hometown just got too dangerous. Fans were concerned as the family hadn't been on social media in about 2 weeks.
Anna went to her Instagram page to update the fans about what happened during the two weeks and to ensure them that she and Stepan were both fine.
Anna told social media that they had to evacuate Ukraine. She said that on February 24 they were sleeping peacefully when at 5 am they were woken up by explosions.
She said that she eventually jumped up and realize what was happening. She says that the "war had come to our house."
Anna explains more about the situation and says that their home was damaged on the 8th day. They had stayed in the basement for protection without electricity until it was safe and they were able to travel to the Polish border.
She went on to say. “it was difficult for everyone. Stepan was scared and trembling. And there were a lot of other people traveling with their pets.”
Once Stepan and Anna made it to Poland they were helped by the World Influencers and Bloggers Association to find housing for them in France. Anna reassured again that Stepan is fine despite being terrified of the war and not eating or sleeping very well at all.
Anna says that they are fine in France and the World Influencers and Bloggers Association is helping them with everything they need while they are there. However, they are still very worried for their country.
Anna is looking to help Ukraine out with charities, but she's warned against fraud and told her fans to watch out. They aren't accepting donations quite yet, so if anyone asks for donations under Stepan's name, it's not her.
Stepan The Cat and his cat mama Anna are safe in France and everyone is so happy to hear that. These two have given us life with their amazing posts on social media and we couldn't be happier to know that they are safe.
We send good vibes and prayers to everyone in Ukraine while the war is happening. Stay safe and stay strong.
