This birthday was quite a milestone for Yulelogs and his friends, as in the wild, a male grey seal tends to only live to around 25.

We all love birthdays! Whether it's our own birthday or that of someone we love, a birthday is a special occasion we all enjoy.
And animals are no different. After all, they deserve to be spoiled on their special days too, right?
This adorable seal from the Cornish Seal Sanctuary is the perfect example of just that. The rescue seal named Yulelogs recently turned 31, and to celebrate, he was surprised with a giant ice cake!
The cake was filled with fish, and Yulelogs couldn't contain his joy. The sweet photos say it all!
Yulelogs was rescued back in 1989 as a tiny pup. The marine park that saved him eventually closed, and Yulelogs was released back into the wild.
"However, after such a long time in captivity, he had no idea how to feed himself and had become too used to humans," says the Cornish Seal Sanctuary on their website. "Three months after his release, Yulelogs was rescued by the RSPCA after receiving calls from concerned members of the public saying he had been chasing people with buckets on the beach, believing they contained fish."
As it turned out, when Yulelogs was rescued for the second time, he weighed in at only 132lb (60kg), rather than the standard 551lbs (250kg).
Cornish Seal Sanctuary"It was apparent he needed care, so the RSPCA asked the Cornish Seal Sanctuary if they would provide a permanent home for him," reads the website.
