Digital Artist From Russia Loves Re-Creating Disney Princesses With Artistic, Magical Twists That Are Truly Stunning

Veronica Kushnareva is from Moscow, Russia where she is a student and freelance digital illustrator. In her twenties, this passionate artist has a clear as day interest in all things magical, which often inspires her art pieces to be as whimsical as they are vibrant and colorful.

Often, Kushnareva, who is known on social media mostly as "Lady Sharlirin," re-creates magical characters from popular media, and she has a very diverse and awe-inspiring gallery of fan art from Winx Club, an animated series originally from Italy (that later found international success courtesy of Nickelodeon) about a special Earth girl with magical powers named Bloom who travels to the Alfea School for Fairies to "perfect her skills." Knowing this, it should come as no surprise that Veronica's Disney fan art brings creative elements of magic and fairies to the table.

"Snow White Fairy is the guardian of the forest! (Kinda Robin Hood.) Protects all life from poachers, and protects the health of animals. She needs the bow to scare somebody, but it can kill also. Snow White has two personalities: she is combat nature as a fairy, and shy and quiet in life (hi ladybug.) Introvert and dependent on social networks. Loves walking in the rain and picking apples."

We always enjoy when artists add information about their re-designs and what motivated them or what bursts in their imagination as they bring these ideas into a tangible reality that can be shared with fans all over the world. Of course, Veronica doesn't always include so many details, but every piece of Disney fan art she creates is seriously gorgeous anyway!
