Redditor Shares Texts Of His Roommate Demanding That He Spot Him For Rent And Bills

We're back again today with yet another post from a Reddit thread, and this time, it's the Choosing Beggars thread. This thread is where people come to and talk about their crazy interactions with those that you might consider a "beggar."

Essentially, this thread is usually really popular, and people have so much to say in the comments section usually. So, with this being said, we are looking into a post today that was submitted by a guy who is complaining about his roommate.

OP actually shared the screenshots of the text messages between him and his roommate regarding the situation with the rent and how he wouldn't be able to pay it this month because his job wouldn't be able to pay him yet. Obviously, this is a huge problem for OP, and he's wondering how his roommate is going to make up for this.

Turns out that the roommate didn't really have a plan anyway, and people in the comments were surprised at the fact that he'd even approach OP with this and not a solution for it at all. SO many people came to the comments with witty remarks, jokes, and just opinions on how this situation is really ridiculous.

Some people came to the comments and let OP know their own instances where they've had to spot people on rent or they've had bad roommate stories as well.

People did want to know if the roommate is really his son or if the guy is just being petty with the way that he's speaking to him.

This is only part of his issue it seems because the guy himself doesn't really seem like a good guy or like he's responsible at all anyway.

This is something that so many people are talking about because we're really not sure why he called him that but obviously he was being an AH with the way he was talking to him.

This is something really to recognize because it can make for a huge life problem if you're late on your rent due to the fact that your job is late with pay.

OP did respond to the comment above and say that this is basically what happened and he talks about how his roommate just didn't plan correctly.

Many people just seem to think that the roommate is just in the wrong here and that OP needs a new roommate honestly.

Nobody wants to live with bad roommates and lots of people don't even want to live with a roommate anyway, much less one that's not great to live with.

We definitely feel like OP needs to say something to his roommate and so many people were telling him not to spot his roommate on the cash because it's not something that might end well. Ultimately, either way the roommate in this situation is definitely in the wrong here.
