Legendary Singer Michael Lee Aday Popularly Known As Meat Loaf Passes Away At The Age Of 74

Michael Aday was born in Dallas, Texas, on September 27, 1947, to Wilma Artie, a school teacher, and Orvis Wesley Aday, a former police officer. Aday graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1965, having performed in school plays like "Where's Charley?" and 'The Music Man."
He transferred to North Texas State University after attending Lubbock Christian College. Aday founded his first band, Meat Loaf Soul, in Los Angeles, after a moniker given to him by his football coach because of his size.
He was quickly approached with three recording offers, all of which he declined. Meat Loaf Soul's first performance was at the Cave in Huntington Beach in 1968, opening for Van Morrison's band "Them" and "Question Mark and the Mysterians."
Despite this, Meat Loaf had significant difficulties building a stable career in the United States. Even though he faced many challenges, he went on to become one of the best-selling musicians of all time.
The key to his continued success was his iconic reputation and appeal in Europe, particularly in the United Kingdom. He won the 1994 Brit Award for best-selling record and single, starred in the 1997 film Spice World and ranked 23rd in the UK charts as of 2006.
Among the "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock," on VH1, he ranked 96th. He has left his mark on the rock music industry and indeed on all his fans!
Michael Lee Aday popularly known as Meat loaf, is a legendary singer who passed away on 21 January 2022 at the age of 74.
The announcement was made through his official Facebook page, which stated, "Our hearts are broken to announce that the incomparable Meat Loaf passed away tonight with his wife Deborah by his side. Daughters Pearl and Amanda and close friends have been with him throughout the last 24 hours."
The Facebook post also stated that his career, which spanned over 6 decades, was amazing, and he sold over 100 million albums all over the world and starred in more than 65 movies.
Loaf was honored with the Hero Award at the annual Q Awards music ceremony in 2016. He dedicated the awards to daily life's heroes and requested people to bring back real love into this world.

Meat loaf rose to fame with his role as Eddie in the movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which was released in 1975. He also sang a very popular song called Hot patootie in that movie.
His famous films include Wayne’s World, Fight Club, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Focus. One of his very popular songs, “Bat Out of Hell,” still remains amongst the top ten selling albums of all time.
His fans are heartbroken and have poured in their tribute from all over the world.
One of the fans wrote, "Another great addition to Rock'n'Roll heaven. A true legend of music. RIP Meat loaf, and you have earned it."
Another fan commented saying, "Prayers for comfort and healing. May he rest in peace. Thank you for all the years of entertainment. The world was lucky to have you," and indeed, we all were lucky to have him.
A third fan penned down a heartfelt note which stated, "So incredibly sorry for your loss - Meat was an inspirational artist, and his music is legendary - he will be forever in our hearts, and his music will never be forgotten."
