Lots of young children grow up dreaming about being just like their favorite Disney Princess. They parade around the house in costume gowns and belt out ballads from fairy tales set in faraway lands.
Some children are able to style their hair in the iconic Disney Princess styles of their choice while others beg for costume wigs that come pre-braided or styled. It's not uncommon for little kids to long for the luscious locks of Rapunzel, Ariel, Elsa, and Jasmine.
One 28-year-old woman refuses to cut her hair that she has been growing for over two decades, earning her the nickname of Real Life Rapunzel. Angelica Baranova from Pokosnoye village, Russia has been growing out her hair for the majority of her life.
She has not gotten a haircut since she was five years old and has no intention to get one any time soon. As a result, Angelica is no stranger to people approaching her on the street when she wears her hair down.
She typically wears her long locks pulled back in scarves now to avoid the public attention her mane receives. Her hair tale begins when she was merely 5-years-old and her parents wouldn't let her cut her hair but after a certain age, she decided to continue the lengthy pursuit on her own.
Angelica has not gotten a hair cut in 23 years!
Angelica has entered and won multiple hair competitions, most notably one called "Russian Braid" where she took home the main prize which was an apartment in Moscow. The big win encouraged Angelica to continue growing her hair and keeping it as healthy as possible.

lik_anzhelikAngelica is the definition of hair goals
Angelica may be considered "hair goals" to many people, but in reality, the length of her hair is not exactly practical for certain things. Some examples of things that Angelina probably finds challenging are riding in open convertibles, vacuuming, using a drill or electric mixer, walking by exposed fan blades, or stepping out in windy weather - all of these things pose major risks to her lengthy locks.
But clearly, she's doing something right so power to her!
