Because well, you would. And if you ever have, then you know just how true it is. One thing is for sure, art speaks. And sometimes it speaks so loud what it's trying to say is undeniable.

Polish artist Pawel Kuczynski, showcases an honest perspective into our modern world. His brilliantly intelligent artwork depicts global, social, political, and economic issues.
He has the perfect knack of intertwining his artistry with his social commentary and adds his satire twists on top, he hits the nail straight on the head each and every time without fail.
Even though he throws some ridicule at our ever day lives into the mix, you can't help but admit there's a ton of room for self reflection within our society as a whole.

Kuczynski has been drawing since he was a child. He enrolled at the Fine Arts Academy in Poznan for graphic studies.
He began turning his observations into satirical illustrations in 2014, after a friend urged him to enter a cartoon competition. After that, he was hooked.
Fast forward to then to the present, 43-year-old- Kuczynski has been recognized worldwide and not only that, but he's been honored with more than 140 prizes and distinctions.
Ironically enough, his work that throws a new perspective into social media presence, has an impressive following of over half a million people on Facebook alone.

Kuczynski was born in 1976, in a communist-ruled Szczecin. He grew up in a very dynamic environment well on it's way onto the path of independence. From a Soviet regime to pure resistance.
He admits that he appreciates today's reality so much more, but still holds tightly memories that taught him the critical thinking that led him to his art.
Times may have changed, but there's a plethora of insane material to cover with grotesque illustrations.
“I'm not the messenger, I'm just the chronicler of our time,” Kuczynski spoke of himself.

Kuczynski divulged to Bored Panda that he "draws inspiration from his peers and colleagues, as well as the old masters, particularly Caravaggio for his play of the lights and the shadows.”
He does well at applying his artist skills to create metaphors that are simultaneously aesthetically pleasing but also mind-boggling.
His style has been referred to as surrealistic, but he refers himself as a 'realistic illustrator, of our surreal times'.

To ensure that he stays in tune with current affairs and trends, Kuczynski goes to web portals and magazines the most. His illustrations are a mirror of the world that surrounds us.
He throws his hands deep into the muck and uncovers the ills of our dystopian society and serves it to us through his art capabilities.
“I think these are not only my observations. I'm able to notice them as illustrations—to show them in a universal language, in the picture language, which is understandable to the whole world,” says Kuczynski.

His art challenges our values in the most striking of ways. It makes us rethink some of the darkest corners of our modern day living.
“I notice the people’s reactions to my drawings…” Kuczynski says. “Very often, they say that I illustrated their feelings.”
His goal through his satire, is that he wants to encourage people to start thinking more about their own problems. At the end of every day, modern or not, our world comes with it's pros and cons.
