Pizza Place Is Helping Rescue Puppers Find A New Home By Distributing Their Posters On Pizza Boxes
This great idea was born when the owner of the pizza place started volunteering at their local animal shelter.

Animal rescue organizations are always coming up with new ways to keep the public aware and interested, and consequently helping the pets get adopted. The best way to do that is by joining forces with local businesses, and that is what Niagara SPCA did.
This no-kill shelter situated in Niagara Falls, New York, vent viral because of their new partnership with Just Pizza & Wing Co. franchise in Amherst. The plan they had was brilliant, and they’ve decided to put it in action.
They are working together on helping the pets get adopted by placing flyers with dogs who need a new home on their pizza boxes.

Niagara SPCAThe campaign was a success. The organization and the pets have attracted a lot of attention. The pizza shop went above and beyond by offering a $50 gift certificate to people who adopt dogs showcased on their boxes.
This wonderful idea for the shelter promotion came to life when the owner of Just Pizza & Wing Co. franchise, Mary Alloy, became a volunteer at Niagara SPCA.
Kimberly LaRussa, the shelter’s event coordinator, asked her for an opinion about putting pets’ photos on pizza boxes, and she did not only love the idea but started working on it right away.
The campaign immediately went viral and both the shelter and pizza shop were applauded for their creativity.
The first day after the campaign was launched, the first pup found a loving forever home. We hope that others will be as fortunate as him!
