If you and your partner are in a relationship, you probably have a basic notion of what they do to keep up their appearance on a regular basis. Things like working out, using skincare products, and scheduling a regular appointment with a hair colorist every six weeks, amongst other things.

Also, you cannot know every one of your partners' routines, and even if you did, that would be a little strange. Nevertheless, you would be aware if your significant other got Botox or fillers, correct?

Well, a lip flip is a common technique that enhances the appearance of bigger lips without adding volume to them. The evidence of cosmetic treatment is practically on your face, so you may assume it would be hard to disguise, but modern techniques are more subtle than most people imagine.

Of course, it would be difficult to hide a facelift or rhinoplasty from someone, much less from your partner. However, many less invasive procedures don't reveal any visible bruising or spectacular outcomes, so you could conceivably keep it a secret.

The narrator revealed that he came home from a work trip, and his partner's lips just looked puffy. He didn't say anything and honestly thought very little of it, but the next day, it seemed even more pronounced.

This got the OP worried, as he's just not into it. He came online to express his concerns and seek advice, as he wants his partner to stop using it.

I am reluctant to bring it up because she can read me like book. i do want to be supportive, its just that my actual feelings are: "why did you do this, you really don't need it."

To me she's perfect but i understand this has very little to do with me.

Botox can endure for a few months to a few years, but it's not permanent depending on the kind and a number of other variables. Some Redditors say that although it can be dissolved, doing so carries additional health hazards so it's more advisable to wait for it to go away on its own.
