Girl Doesn't Go To Her Parent's Wedding Because They've Been Separated 4 Times - Meaning This Is Their 5th Wedding

i really couldn't imagine getting married 5 times and I don't know if I'd go either.

We're here again with another AITA post from Reddit, which we love to dive into so much. This thread is usually filled with so many awesome stories from people looking to get advice on their situation and if they're in the wrong for what they did or didn't do in a situation.

In this case, it's an update from a post that a woman put on Reddit before where she explained that she wouldn't be attending her parent's 5th wedding ceremony or purchasing a $1500 dress for it. So she's back today for this update where she tells us what happened after she talked to her parents, but it doesn't sound like it was a very happy ending, which is obviously the worst part of this whole thing.

However, luckily for OP, it doesn't seem like she really feels any type of way about it and really just wants her parents to understand that they are the ones in the wrong here. She even jokes about how her husband loves to tell this story at the end, so it's clearly not that huge of a thing for them.

Then she goes into the details of what made the whole situation worse and how it ended with her getting kicked out of the house and she's not spoken to her parents.

This is when people came into the comments to give their opinions on her parents 5th wedding ceremony.

We want to know the answers to all of these questions too but honestly I'm not sure if we ever will get the answers.

It's interesting to hear people talk about how surprised they are at how many tijmes her parents have been married, especially to the same person over and over.

People were cracking jokes in the comments but it looks like OP said that other people had already compared her parents to some pretty funny couples.

We are really confused as to how they even managed to separate and want to get married again that many times.

We agree that this would be a pretty good movie and she wouldn't need to falsify anything because the story is just that wild.

This is exactly what we would say too because clearly we'd spend that on our own wedding, but not our mother's fifth wedding.

I wouldn't be planning an extravagant wedding for my fifth wedding at all, even if it was with a different person much less the same person.

We honestly can't believe that her parents have gotten married this many times, but also, we don't know why they'd expect anyone to fork out money for their wedding after all of this. OP is NTA, and we're happy to see that she gave us an update on the situation.
