Tim Burton’s Nightmare before Christmas has a devoted fan base. Although the original movie didn’t go so well at the box office, with time (and 3D remastering and many video releases), it became a classic.
The franchise also became one of the major players when it comes to related product sales. The newest merchandise releases involve the town buildings featured in the movie, all created by Department 56.
Besides the buildings, there is a wide range of figurines to choose from, so you can populate the village as you want. Keep in mind that not all buildings are sold with figurines, so you should take a moment to think about what to buy to get the village and the occupants you want.
It’s only natural that you want the whole set; the only question is what you should buy first. Jack Skellington’s House is probably the most attractive, and it features both Jack and Sally figurines.
Department 56Crow Creek Covered Bridge is also available, and the model is equipped with little purple lights. The buildings are the core attractions of the entire line of products.
Still, figurines add the character to them, because they are available in different poses and outfits.
Department 56Zero is available too:
Department 56Whatever you decide to buy first, creating a Nightmare Before Christmas village could be great fun, and a sound investment. And more importantly, you can use it both as Christmas and Halloween decoration.
