Lady Tells Her Boyfriend That His Idea Of A Father-Son Dance Doesn't Exist And It's Instead Supposed To Be For A Mother And A Daughter

We're back again today for another awesome Reddit post that we are taking a look at today. These posts are pretty entertaining because they usually have a lot of comments on it with a lot of different perspectives as well.

This is the whole reason people come to Reddit to give their situation and see what people have to say about it and if they're wrong or not for how they acted or reacted in the situation they're posting about.

With this being said, we are going to dive in and check out a post that was submitted by a woman who told her boyfriend that it was a bad idea to have a father-son dance at his son's wedding because it's supposed to be a "mother-daughter dance" and also told him that his song wasn't fitting.

Ultimately, people had a lot to say about this, and they told OP exactly how they felt about all of this and what she should have said instead. Ultimately people are not really okay with how she was speaking to her boyfriend, and they let her know quickly.

OP starts off her post by talking about the situation with her family and their bonded families together.

She basically just wants to know if she's in the wrong and if she's being TA by telling him how she feels about his situation.

Right off the bat people quickly let her know that she's indeed TA and that she has a lot that she needs to say to him.

This person told her that she's being ridiculous for saying that she knows this is a fact just based on her own experiences at different weddings.

It absolutely feels and sounds like self sabotage or maybe she just has no filter at all and says quite literally everything she's thinking.

I would probably not invite her either after hearing what she's saying about all of this. I definitely would think that she'd just either step back or just not say anything because it's not her wedding.

She seems quite entitled and it seems like almost everyone in the comments section agrees and thinks she's entitled and TA for saying this.

Essentially this is how most of us feel about this. She shouldn't be making decisions or even telling her opinion on a wedding that isn't hers. Essentially she isn't in the place to tell them anything about their wedding.

They should be able to have whatever song they want and whatever tradition they want for their own wedding.

Obviously she doesn't understand the power of her words and what she said to him. It shot down his idea immediately and that was not okay.

This woman really got all the comments on her post because clearly she is not in the right for this, and it was very rude for her to shoot down his idea like that. Ultimately it's the son's wedding anyway, and he can do as he pleases, not her wedding.
