They didn't know they were talking to actual professionals!
Have you ever heard the term "mansplain"? It has been making rounds on social media, alluding to the kind of behavior that some men display, wherein they condescendingly try to explain something to a woman because they think that they don't know enough about a particular topic because of their gender.
It's not really a secret that women are truly annoyed when people, men, in particular, try to underestimate their knowledge or undermine their skills in certain areas. It's an aggravating thing that they seem to think women are not that knowledgeable enough, and what's even more annoying is that women get mansplained most of the time about their own jobs.
Women have been fighting for respectable places in society for hundreds of years, and up until the present time, we are still vying for a life where we don't have to consistently prove ourselves to be excellent in order to be taken seriously. Double standards are still showing up everywhere, and women still have to work twice as hard to reach the acknowledgment and praise that men easily get in our society.
That being said, it is also truly satisfying when men are put in their places, especially after trying to approach women with an audacious attitude and a condescending tone. They try to assert dominance by mansplaining certain things, but it backfires once they realize or it is revealed that the woman they were talking to is actually a qualified person for the thing they were talking about.
When a Twitter user with the handle @FairieNamedMars asked the question "When has a man tried mansplaining to you about something you knew a lot more about than him?", women were quick to share their experiences on the thread, proving that this is indeed a common occurrence.

It's not really an uncommon thing for women to experience this, but it's a good thing when we are all aware that we are already being mansplained—and it's even great when we let them realize how they are only making a fool of themselves!
