But her argument is rock-solid and you have to read it.

In the United States Roe Vs. Wade affords women the right to seek a safe abortion, but the legal side is only a small piece of a very intricate puzzle. Despite women having this right since 1973, people have pretty much never shut up about unwanted pregnancies and abortions. Most people, especially men and super conservative women, are all too eager to place all the burden of responsibility on women. Why? We all know it takes two to do the horizontal tango but women are the ones heavily tasked with birth control, pregnancy, birth, and whether or not to seek an abortion.
Recently, Gabrielle Stanley Blair, a 44-year old mother of six and California based author took to Twitter with a theory of her own. But not only has Blair asserted that men are 100% responsible for unwanted pregnancies, she offers solutions and has sparked conversations and discussions all over the world.
In an interview with Bored Panda, Blair explained how this incredible string of tweets came about:
I’ve been working out the thoughts I presented in the article over the last year. I actually wrote the thread about three months ago, and then hesitated to make it public — Twitter can be a harsh place, and I worried my family would be attacked.
It was when the Kavanaugh hearings took global center stage that Blair realized her message really needed to be seen by more people.
And if you're wondering what the Mormon church thinks of her tweets, Blair has this to say:
The Mormon church has guidelines that include abortion as an option for rape, the health of the mother, etc., and those exceptions can’t happen if abortion is illegal. My interpretation of the Mormon church’s take is that it is pro-legal abortion. Other church members may interpret things differently.
Gabrielle Blair
She's Mormon and she has six kids, there's no denying she knows how this whole pregnancy thing works!
Gabrielle Blair"I've listened to men..."
Boy, haven't we all?
Gabrielle BlairIt's all the men's fault.
No, but really... it is.
Gabrielle Blair24 Days
That's not a lot of days.
Gabrielle BlairBirth Control
Yeah, what about it? Oh... I see.
Gabrielle BlairSide Effects
Men are starting to sound like cry babies.
Gabrielle BlairSociety says:
"We don't actually care if women suffer."
Gabrielle BlairBack to birth control.
It's problematic, but don't take it away.
Gabrielle BlairCondoms Vs Women
There are some seriously major differences between the birth control options women have and ...condoms.
Gabrielle BlairEverybody loves to clean up!
Condoms make it easy!
Gabrielle BlairOh! That's right.
Remember we already said men were starting to sound like cry babies? It gets worse.
Gabrielle BlairSelfish much?
Yep, that's men in a nutshell.
Gabrielle BlairThe Pleasure Scale
Mind = Blown.
Gabrielle BlairHow is your pull out game?
Statistically, pretty strong!
Gabrielle BlairWell that all sounds so simple!
Condoms and pulling out are a lot easier than the side effects listed on the birth control insert...
Gabrielle BlairHere we go again!
There's that whole "slightly" more pleasurable thing from the selfish cry babies.
Gabrielle BlairBut wait, there's more!
It's not just a social conversation. Let's talk SCIENCE!
Gabrielle BlairOn the contrary...
For women, climax and pregnancy do not have to go hand in hand. Nope!
Gabrielle BlairThis is one of my favorites...
Blair really has a way with words. We love it!
Gabrielle BlairThe R Word
Responsibility.
Gabrielle BlairWhat the woman decides...
The man doesn't even need to know about?
Gabrielle BlairThe C Word
Consequence.
Gabrielle BlairWait a minute.
Each subsequent tweet makes life as a woman seem a little more unfair than the previous one...
Gabrielle BlairSTOP!
The current solutions are not working.
Gabrielle BlairMic Drop?
Almost... She's working her way up to it. Don't stop reading now!
Gabrielle BlairMen really like their testicles.
(Not that I blame them...)
Gabrielle BlairCastration Laws
Put 'em on the books!
Gabrielle BlairRisks Vs Benefits
I'm on board, where do I sign?
Gabrielle BlairDon't get too... cocky.
Insert a "ba-dum-tiss" here, please and thank you.
Gabrielle BlairBank that sperm!
There's no need to let it all go to waste before the castrations begin!
Gabrielle BlairAlright, alright, alright...
Fine, castration sounds extreme. How about an alternative solution that is inexpensive, safe, and reversible?
Gabrielle BlairVasectomy > The Pill
Seriously, why is this even a conversation still? Let's do it.
Gabrielle BlairIf and When...
For some men, that's a really, really big if.
Gabrielle BlairI thought Americans enjoyed medically unneccessary surgical procedures on male infants?
Dear Gabrielle, you're my hero.
Gabrielle Blair"Don't like my ideas? Fine."
Seriously, we've spent several decades listening to men blame and harass women. Let's hear all the brilliant ideas you have that aren't Blair's, and don't include women keeping their legs shut. (Because in case you didn't know women can still get pregnant with their legs closed.)
Gabrielle BlairStop abortion? Prevent unwanted pregnancies.
Without being so controlling and awful to women.
Gabrielle BlairIf you're a man...
Riddle me this:
Gabrielle BlairAsk Yourselves
What would you do in the name of someone you love?
Gabrielle Blair"What if"
You're over-due for a few what-if scenarios, men.
Gabrielle BlairSad Boy.
Oh well.
Gabrielle BlairA Simple Solution!
Blair is good at those.
Gabrielle BlairTO BE CLEAR
Pleasure is pleasure, man.
Gabrielle BlairWould you be willing?
Historically, you've said no. How about now?
Gabrielle BlairSimple Solutions Part 2
Condoms and pulling out are your simple solutions!
Gabrielle BlairMen.
Men, men, men!
Gabrielle BlairAnd here it is:
The Mic Drop!
Gabrielle BlairThank you Gabrielle, for laying down the hammer with a ferocity this debate needs.
