Girlfriend Made To Choose By Boyfriend Between Him And Her Sometimes Aggressive Dog, Wonders If Choosing The Dog Makes Her Irrational

"Hey! We got a TON of tickets last night. Let's get to work gang!"
While managing a lot of work can be admirable, there is stress and burnout to think about. When one has more duties than they can reasonably perform in a given capacity, it is said that they are carrying a heavy workload.
It could be the consequence of a company aiming to cut costs, but it could also emerge from the way a person handles or delegates work. In this case, it's actually from the person handling the work.
The OP works at an online help desk for a program used by companies across the country, but he has a problem with one of his co-workers. This coworker has an uncanny habit of skipping out on what is well-known by everyone to be our busiest days ahead of time.
And when she does work, she works at a snail's pace and is slow to tackle any ticket that comes in. It got to the extent that this coworker decided to go to the gym daily during normal work hours, then stay late during the evening to make up for it.
But then, she still didn't get anything done and expected the team to work on the tickets that came during her work hours. Of course, the OP refused to oblige and told her to work it for three hours before he could help with any tickets that were left.
What happens next? Find out as you read the full story below.

Bridges have now been damaged and burnt from both ends with the OP's manager, Linda, and the other coworker. The OP has been advised to keep a file of potential retaliation for HR but be aware that being disciplined over not helping Linda is not retaliation.
You too can drop your advice for the OP in the comments below and share this post as well.
