The Craziest And Creepiest Make Up Illusions You'll Ever See

In this day and age there's no denying it: makeup is an art form. What some artists are capable of doing with their faces, bodies, and makeup is unbelievable. And today one artist has yet again raised the bar on creative genius and creepy-cool makeup art. Her optical illusions take up to 12 hours to get just right but each final result is practically breathtaking. Each design she does is unique and intricate and impossible not to gasp at. 

Her name is Ines Kuš and she comes to us from Croatia where she says she spent her entire life feeling a "need to express creativity in different forms of art such as photography, fashion design, and drawing." Today she claims to have found the most joy and artistic fulfillment in her face painting endeavors.

With inspiration from her environment and personal emotions, she takes hours upon hours to create art on her own face. Ines took art classes in college but when speaking to Bored Panda recently she said:

What I find most interesting about face paint is that it's original form (on face and body) it only lasts until you wash it off, so it is kinda "fragile" art form. Also it is very challenging to paint on bumpy canvas such as human face.

and

I can also say I'm a big fan of conceptual and surreal art form, so in the future, my work will probably be more focused in that direction.

With her "Tied up" illusion makeup series, Ines says she deliberately tries to draw people's attention with makeup optical illusions but that she also specifically adds "bizarre touches" in order to be provocative and make it impossible to look away.
