Safari Visitors Get The Shock Of Their Lives After Huge Lion Jumps Into Their Car

Lions aren’t exactly what you’d call pet material. However, they are certainly majestic. That’s why they are the kings of the jungle.

There are so many exciting things about these creatures. From their great manes to their roars that can be heard up to five miles away, there’s never a shortage of things to find fascinating about them.

Despite how wild lions are, they have a surprisingly gentle, and sometimes lazy side. Unlike many people think, they can be pretty laid back.

These big cats spend up to 20 hours of the day sleeping or resting. We're not surprised though; they're cats after all.

Would we ever advise you to go to a lion’s den because of this? No! These cats are pretty dangerous and extremely accomplished predators who are adept at hunting. 

If given a chance, they wouldn't hesitate to pounce on anything that looks like food. That’s why stories of lions being affectionate towards humans are always fascinating. 

It’s surprising to find them being anything other than aggressive, even to their kind. Yet, the internet has proof of lions giving out hugs and kisses to humans.

A lion-sized hug

A party of safari tourists got the most fantastic surprise after a large lion greeted them in the warmest way possible.

The men and ladies were touring the Taigan Safari Park in Bilohirsk, Crimea, when a lion named Filya leaped into their car and began to give everyone lion-sized hugs.

A dream come true

Most of the tourists would have been just happy to see the lion, but the cuddles he offered were the icing on the cake for them.

Filya sat on a tourist’s lap while the others hurried to pet him. He stayed this way until everyone got a piece of him before jumping off the vehicle. 

More for everyone

Filya enjoyed the tourists’ attention so much that he climbed in a second time for another session of hugs and kisses. 

Reactions

Someone caught Filya’s adorable gesture on camera, and it had people gushing about him worldwide. Who wouldn’t love him after this? We’re certainly in love with him already.

Routine hugs and kisses

People were surprised to find out that this wasn't just Filya’s routine, but several other lions at the park. They love people, so they climb into the cars often to welcome guests to the safari.

While it's essential to always stay guarded and protect oneself from harm when interacting with wild animals, it’s also important to open yourself up to beautiful moments like this.

We’re so happy for the tourists who got to experience Filya’s affection. Maybe we’re a little jealous of them too. Aren’t you?
