It is a well-established fact that Keanu Reeves is one of the most beloved male celebrities we have right now. He is genuinely kind and really appreciates his fans and takes care of those he works with and those he cares about.

For starring in some of the most popular movie franchises of all time (I’m looking at you, The Matrix) he is still humble, so much so that he is ready and able to make fun of himself in less popular roles. Whether he’s playing an action hero or a romantic lead, we just love to love Keanu.

The world loves Keanu. Folks all over have shared stories about their wholesome interactions with Keanu Reeves. 

Each one only makes us fall more in love with him. Plus, he has a pretty sexy beard going on. 

There was a period a few years back where memes of Keanu Reeves looking sad started popping up over the internet and knowing his heartbreaking background, it was easy to imagine him living a life of loneliness. That’s why when he attended the LACMA Art + Film Gala presented by Gucci in Los Angeles with his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, Keanu lovers collectively lost their minds, in a good way.

Not only is she the first girlfriend the public has known about in literal decades, but Alexandra Grant is also only nine years younger than Keanu Reeves. This more “appropriate” age gap is not often found in Hollywood.

Yeah, you read that right, as if you didn’t already know. The standards for male celebrities in Hollywood are so low that a woman that is barely less than a decade younger than her famous boyfriend is considered a shocking anomaly.

Besides being incredibly talented in her own right, Grant is a naturally beautiful woman, with greying hair and those smile lines by her eyes and mouth. It’s refreshing to witness a woman in the spotlight not obsessed with grasping for youth.

It’s just as refreshing to witness an older man loving and appreciating a woman as she is. Not for what she was 20 years ago.

Reeves and Grant have known each other for years, and have collaborated on several projects together. Their first collaboration, Reeves’ 2011 book “Ode to Happiness,” was followed by 2016’s “Shadows”, which was also written by Reeves and included illustrations by Grant.

In 2017, the pair founded a small publishing house for art books they named X Artists’ Books. These two have been busy outside of falling in love with each other!
