This is Banner, a 3-year-old Husky service dog
bannerthesuperdogBanner notified her owner Whitney of something odd in the forests
bannerthesuperdogShe led Whitney from the house to a secluded spot where they discovered a wrapped cardboard box
bannerthesuperdogInside was a disheartening sight: seven one-day-old kittens
bannerthesuperdog“Someone must have just put them into a cardboard box, closed the lid tight and left them there to die”
bannerthesuperdog“They probably thought that no one would ever discover them. I don’t even know how Banner knew they were in there. The kittens were freezing and weren’t meowing or anything”
bannerthesuperdog“It makes me sick that anyone could do that to these tiny innocent animals. It’s so cruel and heartless”
bannerthesuperdogFrom that moment on, Banner hasn’t left the kittens alone and has embraced them as if they were her own
bannerthesuperdog“She’s very maternal,”
bannerthesuperdog“Now I will find the kittens appropriate homes, that will love them forever”
bannerthesuperdog“I’m so happy that now because of Banner, these kittens will go on to live their lives with loving families”
bannerthesuperdogBanner is a genuine hero, devoted to helping others, no matter if they are human or animals.
She has her own Instagram and Facebook Pages, with thousands of followers, and if you are interested on the kittens’ progress, you can get informed there.
