Isabelle Staub is an amazing artist who used her brilliant art skills to reimagine Disney animals as human beings, and they unexpectedly look absolutely gorgeous. Seeing these characters as human beings is really mind-blowing, it's such a unique concept that has never been done before.
The illustrator came up with this idea while scrolling through images on Pinterest and she thought to herself that seeing a human version of some of these Disney animals would be a cool concept that she could try out. We're so glad that she committed to this project, because the illustrations below are absolutely stunning.

isabelle_staubIn an interview with Bored Panda, Isabelle talked in detail about her artistic process:
“Once quarantine really hit, I had time to keep exploring this theme. Each piece varies on the time it takes but typically around 7 to 10 hours total. I would say the most difficult piece was Dory just because she was the first of the series and I was still fleshing out my ideas so there was a lot of back and forth on what I was going for,”
She even records videos of her drawing these artworks and uploads them on TikTok.
Isabelle's art style is “extremely influenced” by Disney and she loves revisiting her favorite Disney movies in order to get some inspiration.
Isabelle also talked about her future plans and revealed a little sneak peek:
“I have been wanting to do some of the OG Disney characters like Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck! I think that would be a fun challenge for me… So that might be next!”
Bored Panda asked Isabelle if being an artist has always been part of her life plans, and also asked her to give some useful advice for aspiring artists who might consider her as a role model.
“I have always wanted to be an artist! From as long as I can remember, I was drawing all the time,” she shared.
“One piece of advice I would give aspiring artists is to keep going and keep practicing. I have been working professionally as a freelance artist for 3 years now and I am still learning and improving my skills every day,” she suggested that artists keep an open mind and keep honing their skills day by day.
“The learning never stops!” she added.
Isabelle also has a series where she draws cartoon character in her own style:
