The Coronavirus Pandemic is reminding us again of how important hygiene and cleanliness are. We tend to forget those things from time to time, but nature has a harsh way of telling us.
We all need to take our hygiene habits one level up, especially companies like hotels and restaurants. And you would expect them to do so because their businesses and health of their customers and employees depend on it.
But people’s nature is a funny thing; we always want to find to easy way and bend the rules. A crew of the TV show Inside Edition set up a sting operation to check if the high-end hotels in New York are changing their sheets regularly.
They used a washable UV spray, which they sprinkled on the sheets, pillows, and bath towels. The UV logos can only be visible under UV light.
Disturbingly, when they checked to the same rooms the next day (under a different name), they found their logos. That is unacceptable, even in normal conditions, but during a pandemic, it is a crime.

The team also covered frequently touched surfaces like thermostats, desks, and TVs. Inside Edition’s YouTube video raised some dust: more than 780k people watched the clip.
The team applied the UV gel and spay.
