OP attended her aunt’s wedding a few weeks ago. She was not part of the wedding, just a guest, which she was fine with.

Before the wedding, everyone was advised to drink lots of water and eat beforehand because it was going to be extremely hot that day. The wedding started at 5:00 pm, and OP had absolutely nothing to eat or drink up until then, except maybe a granola bar because she was extremely busy that day.

So when it was time for the wedding, OP was already tired and hungry. About thirty minutes into the wedding, she was feeling uneasy and lightheaded, so she excused herself to go to the washroom.

As she was walking, she got that feeling like she was about to collapse. The next thing she can remember was coming to and seeing lots of people surrounding her, including the bride and groom.

When she fainted, she fell onto the photographer who was crouched down near her. Not only that, but he dropped the camera lens down, and it broke.

OP doesn’t even remember seeing the photographer, but she may have been too dizzy or something to have seen him. The wedding was a bit of a cheaper one, so the photographer was a family friend of the groom who only had one camera with him.

OP should have listened to the advice to stay hydrated and eat something. It's not that hard to take a few minutes to drink water and eat a snack.

Now, OP needs to say sorry and mean it. She can't just brush off what happened or pretend it wasn't a big deal. She messed up, and she need to own up to it.

Even though OP didn't mean to cause trouble, she still needs to take responsibility for what happened. It's a lesson for her to take care of herself and think about how her actions can affect others.
