This situation is quite heavy and it got a lot of attention, so here's the update.

We're back with another Reddit post from the AITA thread. This thread is a great place for people to get unbiased opinions and advice on problems and situations in their life.

Today we are actually here to share an update on a story that got a ton of attention when it was posted, and so the OP came back to let us know what happened. It's a very sad story, and the situation is under terrible circumstances, but it's something that was necessary for OP to have to do, and so that's what they did.

He explains that she accepted that his aunt would have guardianship and he got in touch with some help as well.

He says that he made some videos for his son for different milestone sin his life like people suggested.

He spent some time setting his son up as best as he could before something happened.

He was heavily preparing for his passing and it's extremely sad in this post.

This is the edit and update that has us in tears because OP was a lovely man and a wonderful dad.

People immediately are loving OP and commending him for how he acted.

It's obviously terrible circumstances but it can show that he's a wonderful man with a great heart.

This is most definitely a great way to keep his memory alive and remind his son of how much he loved him even when he's not here.

We are saddened by this post and the whole story in itself, honestly, but we can tell that OP was a loving man and dad. We are happy to hear that he left some messages for his son, but the update left us in tears at the end.
