In other words, these Gorillas have the heart of humans too. They feel pity, sympathize, and get hurt as much as we do.

So when this gentle giant saw a seemingly injured bird, he hurriedly approached the poor creature and tried his best to check on it and help the bird fly.

This heartwarming scene happened in a zoo enclosure in New South Wales, in Australia. People were able to witness and film the Gorilla's heroic act of saving the bird.

The Gorilla first made his way to the lawn. People were unaware that the bird was there.

He then approached the bird and investigated if it was injured. He repeatedly checked the bird by gently moving it so it would fly as if telling, "Just go and fly away!".

The bird appeared to be groggy as it was perhaps in pain. The Gorilla even leaned down to get a better view of the bird.

The Gorilla gives the bird a gentle push.

As if instructing the bird to fly, the Gorilla gently pushed the little bird. The bird tried to flap its wings but still could not fly.

The people present at the scene first thought the bird was stunned; hence it was not moving. But as the Gorilla repeatedly gave it a gentle push, they concluded that the bird was probably injured.

After his failed attempt at making the poor fellow fly, the Gorilla walked away, leaving the bird unharmed.

He won the hearts and earned praises from onlookers for his heroic deed. Getting the bird to fly may not be a success, but his care for the bird touched the hearts of many.
