Man Finds Person's Missing Cat But Won't Give It Back And Tries To Keep It For His Daughter

Our animals are like family members to us, and we love them so much. Most people, if you have pets, then you know just how much we love them and what we would do for them.

Many of our pets have been with us for years, and through so many different events, they have become so special. If anything happened to them, we would be so upset, and unfortunately, some people have experienced negative things happening to their pets.

In this case, we'll be looking at a post where someone lost their cat, which is such a traumatic experience and so many people have gone through this before. So with this, someone apparently found the missing cat and claimed to have it, but they were refusing to give the cat back.

This is such a scary situation, and we already have so many questions. The guy basically said that his daughter liked the cat and asked the cat owner if they could keep it.

This is especially scary because the person already has the cat, and if this is true, they could keep it, and the owner would never get it back. Let's look into the full post and all of the best comments that were left on it as well to see what people had to say.

NOT MINE But dude literally refuses to return a missing family's cat. Cat has not been returned and there is a Facebook post leaking his number asking for the public to help.

Calling the police is the right move because they definitely would be able to find this person and get the cat back if they really have it.

Everyone is pretty much giving the same advice here, and that is to call the police because, clearly, this is illegal.

This is very much the route I would try to go by finding out information online if you could or calling the police.

Some people have said that this is a part of a scam and it's something that people do to scam those that lose their pets. So, the person might not even have a cat.

This is actually a pretty sad situation, and it sucks because if he does want the cat that bad, then he definitely isn't going to give it back.

OP did come in and give us an update on the situation here and said that they were probably right about him not having the cat.

Yep they deserve everything that's going to come to them for doing this whether they have the cat or are lying about the cat.

This situation is so sad, and we really feel bad that they are going through this. Whether the guy has the cat or not, it still is sad, and someone losing their pet is a trauma that they might not even get over.

Hopefully, they will find the cat soon, and they will be okay.
