A Guy Grades His Cheating Ex’s Apology Letter And Posted It On Twitter

If you’ve ever been on the bad side of a break-up, you have more chances to be petty. It doesn’t matter if the break-up was amicable, there’s going to be that small voice nagging you to not take the high road.

There are different ways to end a relationship, and there are also a lot of ways to go about your life after. Some exes leave you for good and some stick around to haunt you after, so you wouldn’t be able to move on from them.

Relationships that ended with problems like cheating would more likely make your petty side increase though. There’s that lingering resentment that cancels out the polite thing to do if your ex tries to reconnect, like let’s say when they write you a letter.

Twitter user Nick Lutz’s ex is an example when she chose to give him an apology letter. It was multiple back-to-back pages of explanations and confessions about her existing feelings for him.

In one part of the letter, Lutz’s ex stated how she knew that he didn’t want anything to do with her and frankly, she was right. Nick decides to read the whole thing, only to grade it like a school paper and correct the mistakes.

He then posted the letter along with the corrections made on Twitter and captioned it, “When your ex writes you an apology letter so you grade it to send it back”. There wasn’t evidence if he actually sent it back but people replied with different opinions.

Despite positive comments, there are still people who think that what OP did was debatable if it was good or bad to put his ex on blast. Although he didn’t reveal her identity, some of his followers might have an idea.

Also, the letter was personal, so it really was just a petty move for OP. But it might just be a small payback to give himself more reasons to move on.

Do you think there was no harm in what OP did? You can share your thoughts in the comments.
