Eminem may be an icon now but back then he had struggled with his finances. When he was younger, he spent most of his years in a Detroit neighborhood that didn’t really fit the picket-white fence image. 

The neighborhood was home to people who were struggling to make ends meet, including Eminem’s family. It was a place where they would try to escape from.

Before getting signed and discovered, Eminem was exposed to all kinds of bad things and some of those stem from where he lived. It was something that he incorporated into his songs.

But then he worked his way into the industry and when he had his chance, it didn’t look amazing instantaneously. Rather the toxic habits became part of his daily life.

Everything about that seems so far from how Eminem lives now. He has millions of records sold under his belt and is now a household name.

He has a lot of achievements as an artist and made a name for himself but also acquired a hundred-million-dollar mansion. The Michigan mansion features lots of bedrooms and advantages such as elevators if it’s too much of a hassle taking the stairs.

The land and mansion itself are massive. It’s absolutely something fit for someone with Eminem’s title.

The property sits in Rochester Hills. It is one of the safest places in the state which the rapper now has the luxury to afford.

It took a bunch of ups and downs for Eminem to get to where he is. His past wasn’t something shiny and his dedication to getting out of the situation created a better path for him.

Still, he chose to stay in his home state and create a lowkey life there as he grows older. And the mansions he had bought, it goes to show how far he’s come from the kid that strived to survive in a bad environment.
