Trying to convince your dog that they’re no longer a puppy is definitely not an easy thing to do, these dogs are constantly under the impression that they’re still tiny pups even though they’ve substantially grown throughout the years. 

Old habits die hard and once your dog realizes how great it is to be a lap dog, it’s so hard for your dog to accept the fact that’s it’s no longer possible for them to do that. Some dogs even become bigger than their humans, but nothing in this world could convince them to quit that wonderful habit that we love so dearly.

Once a lap dog, always a lap dog, it’s just how it is.
