Over 9 Million Dog Lovers Await The Crowning Of Mr. And Ms. Woofing World In The Twitter "Doggy Of The Year"

Numerous dog beauty pageants have been staged around the world, and they have garnered a lot of interest. However, they haven't kept up with dog owners' urge to elevate their canine companions to the status of furry kings and queens.

So, a team of dog gurus came up with the brilliant idea—and it was excellent for every dog lover—of creating a virtual playground for all woofing furballs. Millions of participants from all across the world have entered the WeRateDogs contest on Twitter since 2015.

Each dog that is presented is evaluated according to its appearance, history, attitude, and facial expression. The promising su-paw-stars will have a chance of rising as the page has more than 9.1 million followers.

The original founder of this popular Twitter account, Matt Nelson, admits that his only motivation is to tweet cute animals. The WeRateDogs page not only expands into charity but also thrills the dog community.

Since 2016, they have generated more than $2 million through weekly fundraisers to assist in paying for the medical bills of numerous dogs whose families are unable to afford their treatments. Additionally, they've had a number of animal shelters just to help those in need.
