Dog Passes Next To A Man Sitting On A Park Bench And Then Realizes It’s Her Friend She Hasn’t Seen in Almost A Year

Friends reuniting is always touching. It’s probably because true friendship knows no color, race, gender, or species….Friendships and distance are like fire and the wind. If the fire is small, the wind will blow it out. But if the fire is intense, the wind will only make it stronger. And this story is the best proof.

Rave is an adorable and affectionate poodle. Last year Kim Carino, her owner, decided to get her trained, and she entrusted that to her late brother’s friend. He had previous dog training experience, but most important of all, he has an incredible love for animals.

“We met with him weekly,” Carino says. “Rave adored him.” The training took place in the local park, and after one summer, Rave finally “graduated.” But she never forgot her trainer…

Ten months after the training finished, Carino and the trainer decided to meet in the park to surprise Rave. But it was also a test. The friend would just sit quietly on the bench and try to see if Rave would recognize him.

Watch the video here:

“I wanted to see if she would know it was him. I suspected she would ‘cause she is a smart poodle,” Carino says. “When I saw the reaction she had to my brother’s friend, I had no doubt how very special she is. It warmed my heart so.”

Seeing how much Rave enjoyed meeting her old trainer that day, they decided to make this meeting regular.

“He’s a forever friend of mine and Rave’s,” she said.

For Carino, Rave deserves nothing but the best.

“She’s the biggest gift in my life,” she says.
