Have you ever watched a Disney movie and wondered what happens behind the scenes or "backstage?" Well, talented artist, Andhika Muksin, has been busy creating hilarious edits of some of Disney's most iconic moments so that you can see how they were "actually made."
"As a Disney fan since childhood, I've never stopped loving them even after I went into adulthood. But as I grow older, I start to see these childhood icons in a new light," Andhika said.
"We see things differently than when we were children. So this is basically how I come up with my ideas, bringing these childhood icons into a more of an 'adult' perspective, in a comedic way."
Andhika is known for posting many creative edits on his Instagram account. From creating his own versions of movie and TV posters to photo-shopping celebrities together to see what their children might look like.
The artist also draws his own concept art, usually funny and filled with references to pop culture. His preference is Disney, but he also incorporates other movies and TV shows into his feed.

The talented artist says it can take anywhere between two hours and two days for him to complete one of his images. "There's no specific 'formula' for this," he said.
"Sometimes I stumble upon interesting images and get an idea to 'tweak,' or sometimes I just get this image in my head that gets 'marinated' over time as if It was dying to be drawn." Andhika's art is his passion.

"I'm a Disney nerd; I just love them so much. One of the things from my childhood that I've never outgrown," he says.
"A Disney trip is always a part of my yearly travel itinerary. What I have learned as an artist for the past 15 years is that the journey to find your artistic 'style' is as important as letting it all go for the sake of experimentation."
"Sometimes, we all just need to shake things up artistically." Well said, Andhika!

"I've always been into drawings for as long as I can remember. And collage art/pop art has always fascinated me," he said.
"It's like giving a different personality to pre-existing images; I guess I inherited this from my father's side of the family. Both my father and grandfather paint, although they do it more as a hobby."
Andhika says that drawing is therapeutic for him. He says it's an excellent way for him to relieve stress and anxiety.

Being the creative lead for a digital company by day and then creating his own digital content by night are just a couple of the creative endeavors Andhika has pursued. He is a true artist at heart.
"The different backgrounds behind these creative experiences give me insights that affect both my creative modes. Before I got to where I am now, I dabbled in many artistic endeavors: jewelry designer, painter, 8-bit style digital artist, etc."
"I know that this might sound boring to some people, but I really enjoy doing it. Again, the therapeutic part of it," he says.
"I put all my ideas in a journal, and at times these ideas came at the most unexpected time. And then I get to the "planning" part."
"Some ideas are best made with illustration; some are digital collage and painting combo, etc. All these creative processes are done with Photoshop."

Andhika says he loves the connections he is able to make with people via his artwork. Now that his posts have gone viral, he receives a lot of messages from fans.
"I get to connect with a lot of people. The amount of DM's that I got multiplied!" he said.
"I may not be able to reply to everyone, but I check DM's on a daily basis and reply as much as I can. It's cool to be able to talk with people from all over the world."
