Danny Masterson has been relocated to the California Men's Colony in San Luis Obispo after spending just weeks at the Corcoran State Prison in California's Central San Joaquin Valley. The former 'That '70s Show' star is serving a 30 years to life sentence after he was found guilty of two counts of rape last year.

Judge Charlaine F. Olmedo addressed the actor during sentencing, saying, "Mr. Masterson, you are not the victim here. Your actions 20 years ago took away another person's choice and voice."

"Your actions 20 years ago today were criminal, and that's why you are here," the judge said before sending Masterson back into custody. He began his sentence in late December 2023 at North Kern State Prison in Delano, California.

The actor was then transferred to the Corcoran State Prison in January - a maximum security prison where Charles Manson was detained until he died in 2017. He will be eligible for parole in June 2042.

Given the vast differences between facilities, Masterson's transfer from Corcoran State to California Men's Colony made headlines. The CSP is known as one of the most dangerous prisons in the US, while the CMC is a minimum to medium-security prison.

It was speculated that there may have been concerns for the actor's well-being. However, as it turns out, Masterson's prison transfers were most likely just due to routine procedures.
