Say Hello To These Adorable Ducks Who Sport The Coolest Hairdos

We bet you’ve never seen anything like crested ducks. These unique-looking flightless birds are one of the most peculiar breeds of ducks in the world. 

While it may look like they are wearing wigs, that’s not the case. These ducks grow tufts of feathers on the top of their heads, which will remind you of that Elvis Presley magic.

The ancestry of this incredibly cool duck breed is mainly unknown. Nevertheless, they descended from Mallard ducks. 

The mutation that gave them their awesome hairstyle occurred in Mallards and some of their offspring. Thanks to that, we get to enjoy staring at these beautiful creatures.

While animals like cats and dogs get all the spotlight for being fluffy, we think these guys deserve some of that spotlight too. Don’t you want to grab one of these birds and take them home? We can relate to that feeling if you do. 

The internet may not be flooding with as many pictures of these ducks as possible, but we’ve managed to get some that are worthy of viewing. These ducks look like they just returned from the salon and got the cutest hairdo in the animal kingdom.
