Lim Heng Swee is a self-taught illustrator from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and his muse... is cats! Yes, cats.

Now, hear us out! We aren't talking cats in that tragic china-cup at Grandma's house kind of way. We are talking SUPER modern, super minimal and super gorgeous designs with a distinct Eastern-contemporary flavor.

Lim Heng Swee feels cats are very mysterious animals. He likes their personalities (curious, calm, and relaxed) and feels soothed while observing them, hence making them his muse. He also found cats blend seamlessly and perfectly into natural landscape scenes which is what spurred him to create a series of cat landscape artworks.
