This Woman Turned Her Porch Into A Giant Cookie Monster To Delight Trick-Or-Treaters This Year

Halloween decorations are one heck of a fun tradition. If there was a competition for decorating the outside of your home, surely the top two positions this year would go to the skeleton family and Lisa Boll. Lisa Boll lives in Pennsylvania and is a professional porch decorator! I know, I was kind of surprised that's an actual job, too, but seeing Boll's work has made me a believer. She's very skilled and her Halloween design this year is incredible!

A huge fan of Sesame Street, Boll decided to transform her porch into a giant Cookie Monster! Sesame Street is a truly beloved and long-standing children's program, so we can only imagine the delight expressed on the faces of any child who sees this incredible decoration!

While lots of people go for spooky lawn and porch decorations to celebrate Halloween, Lisa Boll wanted something fun. You could easily say that decorating porches isn't a difficult task for Boll, whose company Outback Designs and Deck Restorations basically specializes in this very thing!

As Sesame Street prepares to celebrate their 50th anniversary, Boll decided Halloween was the ideal time to celebrate along with them!

Choosing community-friendly decorations was important to Boll and she is glad the neighborhood approves. She said:

It’s fun for Halloween and it’s not a horror thing, so it appeals to kids under the age of 3. It’s not scary.

To create Cookie Monster, Boll used vines to form the muppet's iconic head around her porch. She spray painted them blue and then added styrofoam "googly" eyes!

Considering Sesame Street is such a beloved show, it should come as no surprise that the Internet collectively approves.
