It's not easy to keep a relationship going. If you want the union to last, you'll have to learn to tolerate some things you don't particularly like (or you can just trash them with your partner).

However, it appears that celebrities have a more difficult time doing that, or maybe it's for other reasons that we, the fans, don't know about. Celebrity relationships are easy to fall in love with, especially when they involve two lovable stars.

However, some obviously last longer than others. There are Hollywood couples who have been together for what seems like an eternity, such as Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks and Beyoncé and Jay-Z. 

However, on the other end of the record, there are celebrity relationships that are over almost immediately. In fact, their relationships started to falter almost from the onset, leaving their fans in shock.

Celebrities, unlike "normal" people, do not have the luxury of privacy during breakups and divorces. That is, the entire world is aware of when, why, and how they decided to call it quits.
