Cat lovers know how much these adorable furballs love finding the best place for naps. Felines simply want to be comfy, whether they're snuggled up with their hoomans or joyfully crammed into everything they can fit their bodies into.

This nature of cats brought a great business idea to the folks at Elevele. It is a family-owned business selling on Etsy.

They create and sell toasty beds, baskets, and what they call "caves." Spearheading the business is a married couple in Lithuania, Klaidas and Elena.

Their cat Rainis helps them run the business by being the product tester and model. Klaidas created the shop while Elena is responsible for the designs and creations.

Elena tried the felting process some years ago. She saw their cat, who was a kitten at the time, sleeping atop a slipper that she made.

She then decided to craft a bigger one for the feline. And that's when her new passion was born!

Every Elevele cat bed cave gives felines of all sizes a place to be cozy. Puppies can also enjoy the warm comfort it provides.

Since cats love resting in tight places, the cave has a snug and closed design. It is lined with linen batting and cotton, making it a great nap spot.

With an open-top design and detailed embellishments, Elevele's beds and baskets provide cats with a comfy relaxing spot.

My kitty was keen on laying on pillows, therefore, I have sewed a soft mat to put inside of the cave. When the summer came, the kitten started to sleep on the cave. This gave me the idea to make an open cat bed. It has become an original proprietary houseleek bed.

Elena made each cozy cat relaxation spot from olive soap, water, and Bergschaf wool, a splendid, natural material sheared from sheep in Austria and Italy.

Elena frequently uses natural materials and adds nature-inspired patterns into her designs.

The design of the whole collection comes with interpretations of a hornet's nest, leaf, and flower.

Elena plays around with a range of materials and fibers to make new textures.

Despite the change ups, the shape of the cat beds are being maintained.

Elena is a nature lover. This is the reason why the designs have green and earthy tones.

According to Elena, her family and her husband are supportive of her work.

Her husband, Klaidas, is also a cat lover.

The studio where the cat beds are being made is surrounded by nature.

Their model cat, Rainis, is always ready to try out the new products.

When not modeling, the cat observes Elena as she's making the beds.

Aside from beds, the shop also offers cat toys and cat mats made from the same set of materials.

Elena has been fond of handicrafts since she was young.

This led her to pursue an architecture degree. While she worked in the furniture design industry for many years, handiwork remained her first love.

She kept it as a hobby until got into felting. Eventually, her passion became her full-time work and her business.
