No obstacle can stop a friendship from forming. If two people (or animals) want to hang out and spend quality time together, nothing can stop them.
They don't care if it's 15 stories high and they have a thick glass and construction scaffold between them. Just take a look at Cleo the cat and her friends.
Cleo has a large number of fans. Even a construction crew – 15 stories high — was enamored with the fluffy white kitty.
“I first noticed Cleo’s fondness for the workers about four months ago, once I started working from home,” Caelin Smith, Cleo’s mom, says. “I heard her meowing behind the blinds at something outside my 15th-floor window.”
She pulled open the blinds to see what the curious kitty was doing. “They were playing with her through the window,” Smith said.
“She had these workers wrapped around her paw! I thought to myself, ‘How long has this been going on for?!’”
The workers began making their way up Smith's building around 8:30 a.m. “I make sure to keep the blinds up so Cleo can watch her boyfriends work,” Smith said.
“It’s been really cute to watch their relationship blossom.” Let's get to know Cleo and her friends better:
This is Cleo. She lives with her mom in a studio apartment on the 15th floor

Construction employees aren't the only ones affected. All handymen are equally welcomed by the sweet 1-and-a-half-year-old cat.
“I’ve noticed a fondness toward electricians, plumbers, and cable guys,” Smith said. “We live in a 500-square-foot studio apartment, so this is definitely the most exciting interaction this city kitty has ever experienced.”

Caelin SmithThough the workers have not had the opportunity to pet Cleo, they all look forward to seeing her every day. “Cleo is the epitome of a COVID kitty,” Smith said.
“She loves to be in the presence of others and absolutely hates to be alone. She yells at me every time I leave the apartment for more than two hours.”
“She has a very gentle, sweet demeanor and a calming aura,” she concluded. “She’s brought so much happiness into my life.”

Caelin SmithMany people got pets during the pandemic to help them cope with isolation. They’ve provided us with that much-needed companionship and contact.
However, with people slowly returning to offices, they are spending more and more time alone in their homes. This may lead to our pets feeling anxious or depressed.
If you are going to leave your pet alone for several hours each day, make sure they have enough water and food (an automatic dispenser would be a good solution). Also, try to keep them active by getting them different engaging toys.
