If you could choose between regular advertisements that you see pretty much every day everywhere and majestic pictures of cats, which one would you choose? Well, we all know the answer to that and London passengers made the obvious choice.
CATS, also known as The Citizens Advertising Takeover Service managed to fund this beautiful vision to life through Kickstarter. They raised more than £23,000 which is just over $30,000 for the whole project.
Managing to replace loads of advertisements with cat images is something we never hoped to witness. A group of friends that want to use creativity for the good were the masters of this plan.
They're the leaders of CATS and are essentially a creative group named Glimpse. They had three reasons they mentioned when asked why would they do this.
The first one was obviously that it would look cute and meowjestic, the second reason was that people are getting sick of being begged to buy items every day, and the last one is that they could try and help lost cats find new homes. They managed to team up with two charities that help our cute felines, Battersea and Protection and they showcased all the cats that were up for adoption.
These new pictures were up for about two weeks and their hope to bring people joy was a success.
