Halloween 2019 has now gone by and if you were at a loss as to what to do about costumes for your kids, then this will save your butt next time. But, alas, never fear - we have a genius idea for you (20 of them actually), thanks to one incredibly creative young mother.
Alicia Brown from Melbourne, Australia came up with the brilliant idea of making costumes for children out of cardboard.
"I love cardboard, it’s completely underestimated. Most people throw away their cupboard boxes. But when I get a brand new crisp cardboard box in the house, I get really excited about the possibilities," Alicia writes on her blog.
"It’s nothing new, kids have been playing with cardboard boxes for years. A cardboard box can be anything we want it to be, with just a little imagination."
Alicia shares design templates on her website at zygotebrowndesigns.com and also has a YouTube channel where she demonstrates how to put the costumes together.
