Brutus and Pixie are an adorable cartoon duo. Their creator, Ben Hed is an artist in Minnesota. Ben describes Pixie as an innocent little kitten, who is often unaware of the dangerous world that she lives in. Brutus, meanwhile, is a retired military working dog who has seen the horrors of war.

Brutus is very protective of his adoptive sister and often tries to protect her from the harsh realities of the world. This is evidenced in this comic, where Pixie asks Brutus about war. This charming comic shows the contrast between innocence and the terrible reality of war, and how all we want to do is shield others from it.

Though perhaps Pixie deserved a little more explanation so she doesn't get the complete wrong idea; this comic is adorable.
