Girl's Parents Talk Down To Boyfriend "Jokingly" Every Time He Is Around, And He Finally Confronts Them At Dinner
Stay until the end for the edit because OP did give us a little more info on how the conversation ended.

We're here again with another Reddit post that's getting tons of love and attention online. We enjoy diving into these Reddit posts because they really have a lot to them when it comes to the interesting stories we read and all of the awesome comments that people put on them as well.
Today, we're looking into a post that was submitted to the Relationship Advice thread, which is where -you guessed it -you get or give relationship advice. With this being said, today's post was submitted by a girl whose parents would somewhat bully her boyfriend.
They'd talk down to him and laugh at him, but he finally confronted them and told them how he really felt about this, even though her parents just said that they were "joking." This did end up with a bit of a solution, and it seems like things somewhat worked out, so we hope that their relationship was salvaged.
There is something about having a good relationship with your significant other's parents, and this proves that it can make a huge impact, and just to be honest about how you feel. If you're interested in reading the full story to see how the parents reacted and what was said, then keep on reading as we dive in and give you a full look into the post.
OP gives us info in her post as to how the conversation went whenever her boyfriend shows up. She also stated that her last post explains a bit about what's going on.

OP then added an edit that we needed to hear because everyone wanted to know how the conversation ended and where he went after all of this.

Many people came to the comments to talk about just how Awesome it was that her boyfriend stood up for himself and talked to her parents.

Some people thought that OP should have been the one to step up and say something to her parents but it seems like he had it covered though.

THis is what I'd be saying because if we aren't all laughing then it's clearly not a joke, or at least not a good one.

Some people even came on to say their own situations that were similar with their parents or their significant other's parents.

So many people said that her boyfriend was great to stand up for himself and overall they were saying just how great he was for his actions.

Some people from her last opst even showed up and gave their opinions on how things ended. It looks like it was a happy ending.

Some people reminded her to keep him around because he's clearly a good guy and it's good that he stood up to her parents like that.

We're so happy to hear that it was a happy ending as well.

So many people were happy about the ending of this post and overall just were proud of her boyfriend for standing up for himself and saying what needed to be said. What do you think about this situation nd would you have said anything different?
