With close to 8 billion people walking the planet today, it's natural that many things get lost and forgotten as time goes by. It's natural that people spend a minimum amount of time finding their lost things before moving on to greener pastures.

I remember when a tiny little diary I used to maintain as a tween went missing. I was petrified because it housed a lot more than just the names of my arch-nemesis, my crushes, and my weaknesses and I also wrote a lot about my teachers and how they could further improve "my" learning experience.

Karma's wheel came quickly for me when my diary ended up with my teacher, especially the one I wrote lacked enthusiasm. I don't know how the teacher found it, but anyway...

Just thinking about that fateful day sends chills down my spine. The point is, you lose something today, and if you don't find out, someone else most probably will.

It isn't a very big world; you know. People have found dinosaur bones, lost cities, and whatnot, so finding something you lost a few decades ago is a piece of cake.
